About the Cup

The DMC brings Serbian clubs from across Australia together for high-level basketball and community connection. The event honors tradition and promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and cultural pride. Hosting in Brisbane provides a platform to welcome teams, families, and supporters with our city’s hospitality.
Beyond the games, the Cup serves as a meeting point for the Serbian diaspora and friends of the community, bringing coaches, volunteers, and families together through shared events, food, and music. It strengthens ties between clubs, creates mentoring moments for juniors, and leaves a positive legacy for host cities through participation, fundraising, and new connections.
